Taypikala Hotel sits back from the commotion of the center due to its location behind the famous Convent of the Qorikancha, but in only 3 blocks you reach the Plaza de Armas and in a few meters walking distance the buses for the tours in and around the city are ready to pick you up.
The colonial (style) building of the hotel and the interior decor in Andean style create an inviting atmosphere that lets you relax and shake off the stress of every-day life.
Our patio is the ideal place for sunbathing or mild summer nights to enjoy a glass of wine or a steaming cup of coffee in the romantic shine/light of torches.
Our Restaurant "El Tambo"
At our restaurant “El Tambo” we serve breakfast, lunch and diner.
A hearty breakfast buffet is included in the room rate and provides you with the energy you need to start the day.
Lunch and Diner can be ordered a la carte, but we also have a special group menu with several healthy options to choose from. The food we serve is a mix of Novo Andean and traditional Creole cuisine.
Our friendly bartender at the “La Antara” Bar serves you a 5 o’clock tea, a refreshing beer after dinner or late night cocktails (for sociable evenings).
